We regret to announce that Splash N Dash 2025 will not take place on 29th March due to challenges in securing the necessary approvals from local authorities.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Equipment do I need for the race?

All participants must bring their own bicycle and helmet (unless reserved during the booking process). Bicycle helmets must be worn for the kayak and cycle legs of the challenge.

Participants should bring their own water bottles.

Participants are not permitted to bring their own kayak.

Are there any age restrictions for participants?

Participants must be 18 years old for all courses except our 28.5km challenge.

Participants aged 12 and over may partake in our 28.5km Challenge, participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the course.

Where can I park?

There is plenty of parking on-site at Russborough House. Please be advised that the cost of parking is €4. This fee is charged by Russborough House to assist in the upkeep of the property.

What sort of bike do I need?

The cycle legs all stick to roads, mostly minor roads - we recommend a road bike or hybrid.

Electric bikes may be used but will not be seen as competitive or included in any results.
